New Jay-Z Album Out November 6th

Just got the news off ye old interweb that J. Hova is putting out a new album called "American Gangster". At first, I was taken aback because I had been looking forward to this movie for a while. First of all, Denzel in his most controversial role since Training Day and at his most bad ass since Man On Fire (both available on DVD at your local library). Throw Russell Crowe in the mix and Ridley Scott directing and you got a potentially great movie.

Anyway, J's American Gangster is not an official soundtrack, but the songs are inspired by scenes in the movie, which J said really spoke to him in this article. More updates to come now that I'm officially opin over both the movie and album... so stay tuned to the purple steez and get down with it. In fact, you could set up an RSS feed that will keep you up to date. To learn how to do it, check out this exlpanation.

UPDATE: You can peep the first single, which is called "Blue Magic" produced by and featuring Pharrell (I call you 'fareal' cuz you the truth) Williams here

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: Of course, the afformentioned song has been deleted... apparently Hov doesn't want you to hear it yet. Hopefully you got to it before he did
