I realized just now, I've never played Money Maker by A Tribe Called Quest at any shows or on any mixtapes. I've never even included it on this blog, but it's always been one of my favorite jams by ATCQ. One of the best build-ups to a funky boom-bap dilla-flavored beat. I think The Love Movement is a very underrated album. Is it Tribe's best? No, but it is better than most of the bullshit that came out in '98. I wouldn't like Tribe any better if they hadn't released this record, and including 6 bonus tracks (making the vinyl release a 3LP) was great for those who hadn't collected ATCQ original 12" records to get the Scenario Remix or the Oh My God Remix.
