You already know that I'm down with Dunham Records and its founder Tommy Brenneck, but I just got turned on to his newest project: The Phenomenal Handclap Band. It's a super-spaced out disco funk in the vein of Cymande (click this link, Mel) and The Rotary Connection (everyone should fuck with this one). Check them live in NYC doing You'll Disappear. So funky... and be sure to check the breakdown at 4:35 and how it leads into an interpretation of Van Halen's Eruption (don't front, I never thought I would reference Van Halen on the blog).
